Berril von Amburg recorded her first solo-CD, "Mooi Is Die Lewe" at the turn of the century in 2000.
A year later a second CD, "Magic Love" was recorded. During that same time Berril collaborated with two other artists to produce "Verlore Is Ons Nie", a CD produced to benefit Casa Caritas, an institution for the mentally handicapped.
In 2003 her Country Gospel Music CD followed: "My Tribute To The King"
In 2006 Berril's first music video, "Wil Jy Of Wil Jy Nie", was produced, based on the title song of her next CD, also titled "Wil Jy Of Wil Jy Nie". This CD is a combination of up-beat Afrikaans traditional and contemporary music, Country and ends with a very popular Gospel track.

Berril was born in Bellville (Cape Town). Her mother died in a vehicle accident when Berril was 15. Privileged to have parents that were involved in and loved music, Berril attended many performances with her late Father and learned to love the music world as a child.
After her Mother passed away, Berril lived with her Father and sister in Hartenbos where she completed her Matric and then joined the South African Police in 1984, becoming a detective and working in "Counter-Insurgency/Special Task Force".
Two years later Berril married and her Father passed away during her first pregnancy. Two children and ten years later the marriage ended in divorce.

After five years in the Police Berril purchased her discharge from the Police and returned to study Law and Theology, qualifying as "Pentecostal Minister".
Berril's children (Irvin and Tanya) today assist their mother and other artists operating sound equipment, a job they enjoy, especially when touring the country with a group of artists.
She enjoys work as compere and presenter, and to discover new singing talent. A published author and writer of lyrics for songs in association with composer Pierre du Plessis, Berril has recorded the first four of these original tracks, which appear on her latest CD, "Wil Jy Of Wil Jy Nie".
Berril's versatility extends to writing scripts for radio and film, with a special passion for Country Music.
